Linda E. Krach, MD is a physician researcher at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare and an Adjunct Professor in the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of the University of Minnesota Medical School. Prior to her retirement from clinical practice, she has had a long career in pediatric rehabilitation medicine providing care to both children and adults with congenital and childhood onset disabilities. She has been involved in clinical research throughout her career. Areas of clinical and research interest include the treatment of spasticity and dystonia, traumatic brain injury in children, spina bifida throughout the lifespan, and multiple topics related to the experience of adults with cerebral palsy. Honors include Outstanding Council Service Award from the Pediatric Rehabilitation/Developmental Disabilities Council of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation November 2010, Distinguished Clinician Award from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation November 2012, and Gabriella Molnar Lifetime Achievement Award in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine presented at the Annual Assembly of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation November 2021.
