John R.W. Kestle, MD specializes in Craniofacial Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery, and Brain Tumors at the University of Utah. Dr. Kestle is Professor of Neurosurgery and Vice Chair of Clinical Research. His clinical practice has been exclusively in pediatric neurosurgery, with a specific interest in pediatric epilepsy surgery. His research is centered on clinical trials methodology, which he developed a multi-center network for running clinical trials in pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Kestle is also Chair of the Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network.

John and his wife Lynn have three children, Rebecca, Mat, and Brian. The whole family enjoys outdoor activities in the nearby Wasatch Mountains of Utah.
