Richard Stevenson, MD, is a developmental pediatrician and head of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at UVA. He sees children who have slow or different development, including patients with conditions like autism, intellectual disability and ADHD. A native of Colombia, Dr. Stevenson is bilingual and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients and families. He is particularly interested in cerebral palsy, and has been part of UVA’s cerebral palsy clinic for over 25 years.
