I received my BS degree in Physical Therapy at the University of the Philippines in 2000 and completed medical school at the University of the East in 2004, followed by a post-graduate internship at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital in 2005. I completed my residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at East Carolina University in 2011, where I served as academic chief resident. I then pursued a pediatric rehabilitation medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in 2013. Before joining the faculty in the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Cincinnati Children’s in November 2019, I served as an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Children’s of Alabama.
My clinical interests include cerebral palsy, with a focus on its early detection, spasticity management, and the treatment of infants and children with brachial plexus injuries. I am deeply invested in patient and family-centered care and am a member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
