
Dr. Rhodes is currently faculty with the University of Colorado Department of Orthopaedic Surgery with a practice that subspecializes in gait and neuromuscular disorders as the director of the Cerebral Palsy and Neuromuscular Program at the Orthopedics Institute. His background is based in mechanical engineering with his bachelor’s and master’s degrees through which he began to be involved with gait analysis during his training. He strives to use gait analysis to evaluate the biomechanics of how people with cerebral palsy and neuromuscular disorders ambulate and use this to determine and evaluate treatments to improve their functional ambulation.
