Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey about the upcoming CP Research Network Investigators’ Meeting on May 4-5 at AI duPont/Nemours in Wilmington DE. While the final agenda is not set, the meeting is shaping to have a great set speakers and activities to advance the registry and numerous research projects. The meeting is always a great networking opportunity.
Attendees are expected to arrive on the evening of May 3. The closest airport is Philadelphia (PHL) which is 23 minutes away in non-rush hour traffic. The meeting will run all day on Thursday, May 4. On Thursday evening, our host, Dr. Wade Shrader and his wife Carol, will host us for dinner in their backyard. The meeting will wrap up by 2 pm on Friday afternoon so flights can be booked for late afternoon/early evening. Nemours will sponsor the meeting space and audio/visual during the meeting. Attendees are responsible for travel, hotel ($149/night before tax) and meals outside of meeting hours. The hotel is the Hilton Doubletree in Wilmington, DE where we have arranged a group rate. The meeting will be in-person only as opposed to a hybrid meeting. Some breakout sessions may have a Zoom in option but the meeting is not being planned to accommodate remote participation.
Please note that we have limited capacity for our meeting. Generally we asks sites to send one investigator per site though Steering Committee members may invite additional investigator. Other sites can request to have an additional investigator to attend which we can consider when we have a better picture of attendance from each of the sites. Preference will be given to sites that more engaged in the work of the network — meetings, committees, research projects, registry, publications, QI and in-kind contributions. We are also inviting a number of community members, advisors and partners to join the meeting. We are targeting 50 total attendees.
