Stephen A. Nichols MD is the Senior Physician for Rehabilitation at Mt Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where he serves as the medical leader for the rehabilitation clinics and programs. He is board certified in General Pediatrics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a subspecialty certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. He has academic appointments as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Baltimore and as a part-time Instructor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His clinical interests include early diagnosis of cerebral palsy, use of ultrasound guidance for neurotoxin injections, intrathecal baclofen therapy, and management of acquired pediatric brain injury.
