
Dr. Lisa Letzkus, PhD, RN, CPNP-AC, FAAN, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and a pediatric nurse scientist with over 16 years of expertise in neurological disorders and medical complexity. She directs the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatric Inpatient Consult Service at UVA Children’s, providing care from the NICU to community reintegration.A co-founder and developmental lead of the Neuro NICU at UVA, Dr. Letzkus also co-directs the Early Developmental Clinic, where she leads the early identification of cerebral palsy (CP) initiative. Her research focuses on leveraging predictive monitoring for the early identification and treatment of infants at risk for neuromotor disabilities to improve long-term outcomes.
