
Quality Improvement Director
Amy is a Professor in the Division of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy and the Division of Patient Services Research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and the Director of Quality Improvement for the Cerebral Palsy Research Network. She has 40 years of pediatric clinical experience spanning acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient settings. Throughout her career she has advocated for physical therapist research positions within clinical divisions. Her area of research focus includes health services and quality improvement (QI) with a particular emphasis on physical therapy dose for individuals with CP and other conditions. She has received funding from the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy, Pedal with Pete, C- Progress and the NIH. Her passion is conducting meaningful research within the clinical environment and mentoring others to become clinician scientists.
