• A national, center-based cerebral palsy registry has been built by the Cerebral Palsy Research Network to facilitate comparative effectiveness research using practice-based evidence.
• A patient-centered research agenda for cerebral palsy highlighted the need for the longitudinal studies of aging, exercise, and the comparative effectiveness of interventions.
• A multicenter registry and network can enable the development of learning health systems to improve outcomes in cerebral palsy.
