Surya N. Mundluru, MD, MBA is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Texas Houston McGovern School of Medicine. Dr. Mundluru is board certified in general orthopaedic surgery, and sub-specialized in pediatric orthopaedic surgery and scoliosis. Prior to pursuing orthopaedic surgery he completed training and board certification in internal medicine and general pediatrics at University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He then completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the NYU Langone Hospital for Joint Diseases, followed by a fellowship in pediatric spine deformity and general pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, Dallas, TX. Dr. Mundluru competed his medical school at University of Missouri Kansas City and a masters in business administration at Indiana University Kelley School of Business. His clinical and research focus is in musculoskeletal management of neuromuscular conditions, economic disparities and access to health care.
