MyCP Webinar: Inside the Making of the First Adult CP Toolkit
The Cerebral Palsy Research Network is proud to host a special webinar on December 16, 2025, at 8 pm ET highlighting the creation of the Adult CP Toolkit—the first comprehensive, evidence-based health and wellbeing resource dedicated entirely to supporting adults living with cerebral palsy.
For decades, most CP resources and research have centered on childhood, leaving adults with limited guidance on navigating health, wellness, and daily life. The Adult CP Toolkit fills this long-standing gap with a single, trusted educational reference. It is designed to empower adults with CP, help them start conversations with their providers and support them in making more informed decisions about health, lifestyle, and self-advocacy throughout adulthood.
The toolkit is available to download for free on the CP Research Network website: https://cprn.org/the-adult-cerebral-palsy-tool-kit/ and is available for purchase through Amazon. The screen reader accessible version will be available online by the end of December for our community members who need it.
About the Webinar
Join CP Research Network co-founder Michele Shusterman and Mary Gannotti, PhD, Jensiné Clark, MD, and Cristina Sarmiento, MD, four leaders from the CP Research Network, for an in- depth conversation about how this groundbreaking 150-page guide came together, why it matters, and how it is already empowering the more than 800,000 adults with CP in the United States.
They will share insights from the two-year development process, which incorporated contributions from over 50 adult peers, clinicians, researchers, and professionals, blending lived experience with clinical expertise to create an authentic and highly practical resource.
