Dr. Lunsford is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia Health System. He has been an attending physician with these departments since 2015. He is one of the co-chairs of the UVA Pediatric Neuromuscular Conference that occurs every December. Dr. Lunsford graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy before completing his medical doctorate at the UNC School of Medicine. He completed his transitional year program at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UVA, followed by a fellowship in pediatric rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh.
