CP Research Network Changemaker/Accelerator Grant Program
Goal: The CPARF Changemaker/CP Research Network Accelerator Awards (CM/AAs), are intended to advance our collective work toward CP Research Network objectives as defined in the CP Research Network strategic plan faster than these might be achieved with our current investment or course of action. They are intended to secure time and resources that might not otherwise be available without additional funding. The result of a Changemaker/Accelerator Award should be deliverables within 12 months of the grant. Examples applications could include:
- preliminary data gathering to advance an approved study concept to application;
- secondary analyses and resultant manuscripts for publication;
- demonstration projects with the potential to spread through the network such as an imaging database extension, use of AI to extract data from notes for discrete CP Registry data elements; or building local usage of registry data.
- knowledge translation projects for clinicians or consumers to increase uptake of evidence-based medicine;
- a leadership development or mentorship program.
Implementation – The intention for the Changemaker/Accelerator Awards is to increase the pace of awards, impact on the network’s efforts to optimize the lifelong health and wellbeing of people with CP and their families. The implementation is lighter weight, more agile, and more interactive than traditional grant programs.
Amount: Up to $25,000 per award in Q4 CY25. Two awards will be granted.
Timing: Concept submissions are due June 11, 2025. Timing of other steps can be found here.
