Part of the Cerebral Palsy Research Network’s mission is providing health and wellbeing programming to our community of individuals with cerebral palsy. Staying active and reducing stress are vital components of maintaining health and wellness throughout one’s life.
Establishing healthy habits in early childhood will help people with cerebral palsy to continue to maintain their sense of wellbeing into adult life, possibly preventing or reducing secondary complications to having cerebral palsy.

Pediatric Health/Wellbeing Programs
Beginning fall of 2021 in Greenville, South Carolina we will co-sponsor a pilot program that includes a a twice-weekly 90-minute exercise program. The program is designed to help participants develop a personalized fitness routine for remaining active.
Adult Health/Wellbeing Programs
Beginning Tuesday, June 8th, we will be sponsoring free adaptive fitness classes for teen and adult members of our MyCP community in partnership with Staying Driven, LLC. Find out more information and how you can participate by visiting our MyCP fitness page!
We have also partnered with the National Center for Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD) to provide virtual classes on mindfulness, exercise and nutrition. We are planning to build on the 10-person pilot that concluded in May 2021.
